1. Introduction

StudioRam ("we," "our," "us") is operated by Wandern Inc. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the StudioRam website and platform at studioram.app (the "Service").

By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you sign up for the beta or create an account.
• Payment Information: Billing address and payment details. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — we never store your full card number.
• Content: Character specifications, images, prompts, and other creative content you upload or generate through the platform.
• Photographs and likeness: If you choose to build a character from a photograph, we process that photograph to produce an illustrated character. We use it to generate and to keep your character looking consistent across shots. We do not use it to identify you, we do not run facial recognition against it, we do not match it against any other person, and we do not use it to build a biometric template. Uploading a photograph is optional — you can create characters entirely from written descriptions and the on-screen controls. Only upload a photograph of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it.
• Communications: Emails, feedback, and support requests you send us.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, generation counts, processing times, and session duration.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
• Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to improve the Service. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process your beta application and manage your account.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate with you about updates, new features, and your account status.
• To monitor for abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To improve our AI models and pipeline performance (using anonymized, aggregated data only).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Stripe (payments and billing), Google Cloud (hosting, storage, database and AI infrastructure), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis), Mailgun (transactional and marketing email), and PostHog (product analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under contract, and may only use it to provide their service to us.
• Legal Obligations: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Your Content

You own your creative output. Character specifications, prompts, and generated content that you create through StudioRam belong to you, subject to the terms of your subscription plan.

Free-tier output is watermarked and is for personal, non-commercial use. Paid plans carry full commercial rights to your generated output. The current tiers and what each one includes are set out in our Terms of Service.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated content is retained for 90 days after generation, after which it may be deleted. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States (Google Cloud). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

10. Automated Processing and AI

StudioRam is an AI production tool. The prompts you write, the character specifications you build, and any reference images or photographs you upload are sent to our AI infrastructure provider so that images, video and audio can be generated. This processing is what delivers the Service you asked for.

We do not use your prompts, characters, photographs or generated output to train our own models, and our AI infrastructure is used under enterprise terms that do not permit your content to be used to train the provider's models.

Generated output can be imperfect or unexpected. Nothing produced by the Service should be treated as a statement of fact about a real person, product or event.

11. Children

StudioRam is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, as set out in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request a copy of it, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

13. EEA and UK Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these lawful bases:

• Performance of a contract — to run your account, generate what you ask for, and take payment.
• Consent — for marketing email, for non-essential analytics cookies, and for uploading a photograph to build a character. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and improve how it works, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
