# StudioRam > StudioRam is a browser-based AI animation studio that takes you from a script to a > finished animated series. It turns a written scene description into a finished > animated video and keeps the same character's look from scene to scene. It is built > for recurring-character work (series, episodes, explainer sets), not one-off clips. > Businesses can also commission finished episodes from the StudioRam team. ## Facts - StudioRam is not StarJam. StarJam is a separate face-swap music-video app at starjam.app. - What it does: you describe a scene in words and get back a finished animated MP4 with your characters and an AI voice already on it. - Unit of work: 1 credit = 1 scene. A scene is one continuous shot, up to 8 seconds (about 6 is typical). - Longer stories: they are made of more scenes. When a video finishes, "What happens next" starts a new scene on the last frame of the previous one, with the same cast, place and look. - Character consistency: a character is saved once (from a description, your own design, or a photo of yourself) and reused as the reference for every scene it appears in. - Output: 720p HD MP4, 24fps. Paid scenes have no watermark. The free scene is watermarked. - Video editor: opens with any plan or scene pack. Making a video spends a credit. - Free: 1 animated scene, no card required. It comes with 1 Change Voice try. Listening to voices is free. - Scene packs (bought once, never expire): 1 scene for $5.99, 5 scenes for $24.99 ($5.00 each), 15 scenes for $59.99 ($4.00 each). - Creator plan: $29 per month. 15 scenes in the first month, then 12 scenes every month. Cancel anytime. - Voice pack: $5.99, paid once. More Change Voice tries and a slot to upload your own voice. - Done-for-you (businesses): character lock $750 once per firm; finished episodes quoted per runtime. See /business. - Commercial use: generated videos are licensed to you for personal and commercial use, subject to the content policy (see /terms). - Requirements: a web browser. No install and no animation experience. - Where it runs: https://create.studioram.app ## Pages - [Home](https://studioram.app/): what StudioRam is, examples, pricing and FAQ. - [Pricing](https://studioram.app/pricing): scene packs, the Creator plan and what a scene is. - [How it works](https://studioram.app/docs): the steps from a scene description to a finished video. - [Why StudioRam](https://studioram.app/why): the character-consistency problem and the approach taken. - [FAQ](https://studioram.app/faq): common questions about making an animated series with AI. - [AI animated series generator](https://studioram.app/ai-animated-series-generator): how StudioRam generates a series with a recurring cast. - [Script to animated series](https://studioram.app/script-to-animated-series): steps to turn a written script into finished episodes. - [Faceless animated YouTube channel](https://studioram.app/faceless-animated-youtube-channel): running a channel with an animated cast and AI voices. - [Same character in every episode](https://studioram.app/guides/animated-series-same-character): how to keep one character's look across a whole series, and how StudioRam does it. - [What an animated series costs](https://studioram.app/guides/animated-series-cost): freelancer and studio rates (sourced, dated) next to StudioRam's per-scene prices. - [StudioRam vs Atlabs](https://studioram.app/compare/studioram-vs-atlabs): what each one makes, how each keeps a character, and prices as published. - [StudioRam vs invideo](https://studioram.app/compare/studioram-vs-invideo): the same comparison for invideo. - [StudioRam vs HeyGen](https://studioram.app/compare/studioram-vs-heygen): talking avatars vs characters acting out a story. - [StudioRam vs Anijam](https://studioram.app/compare/studioram-vs-anijam): directing each scene yourself vs an AI agent that generates whole episodes, with prices as published. - [Vyond alternative](https://studioram.app/compare/vyond-alternative): business and training video vs a recurring character acting out a story. - [Animaker alternative](https://studioram.app/compare/animaker-alternative): template and character-builder explainers vs story scenes with your own characters. - [Powtoon alternative](https://studioram.app/compare/powtoon-alternative): explainers and presentations vs a story series priced per scene. - [Best AI tool for an animated series](https://studioram.app/guides/best-ai-tool-for-animated-series): seven tools compared on characters, output and published prices (October 2026). - [Best AI for consistent characters](https://studioram.app/guides/best-ai-consistent-character-animation): rigged characters vs saved references, and which tools use each. - [For businesses](https://studioram.app/business): done-for-you animated episodes. - [Example series: RE:ECHO Chronicles](https://studioram.app/chronicles) - [Terms](https://studioram.app/terms) - [Privacy](https://studioram.app/privacy) ## Notes - Prices and limits in this file were checked against the product's charging code on 2026-10-16, and editor access against the live setting the same day.
